There have been reported cases of mumps in Alberta, Manitoba and other areas in Canada. Most cases have been between 15 and 39 years old, with those between 20 and 24 years old being particularly affected. In an effort to prevent cases in Saskatchewan, Public Health is encouraging eligible individuals to ensure they are up to date with their mumps immunization.

Pertussis Outbreak Continues
Pertussis (whooping cough) outbreak continues for the City of Moose Jaw. Pertussis is a potentially serious and highly contagious infection of the lungs and throat.
