Day Surgery Unit
The unit operates from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (closed on holidays). Day surgery provides post-op surgical care in endoscopy, ophthalmology, urology and other minor surgical cases.
The Chemotherapy Outreach Program of Saskatchewan (COPS) is a program of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, coordinated by the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina, in partnership with the regional health authorities. Patients may receive chemotherapy closer to home reducing the need to travel great distances for treatment. The overall management and prescribing of treatments remains the responsibility of the oncologists at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre.
The Pre Anesthetic Clinic (PAC) is held three days a week. PAC appointments allow for the collection of blood work, ECG, and x-ray testing to be done as required and for the anesthetist to review your case with you in preparation for your surgery.
